Template:Confused/doc

This is a documentation subpage for Template:Confused (see that page for the template itself). It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

Use this template for articles that are easily confused or misspelled to another article, but are only ambiguous with two titles. For example, add this template if two titles are ambiguous, are alike, easily misspelled, or when users are repeatedly sent to the wrong place. This template has a similar use to {{about}}, except that it does not explain the difference between the two articles and merely states that their topics differ.

Usage

{{confused|Page title}}

Result:

Not to be confused with Page title.

If the titles are ambiguous both ways, remember to add a template to the other ambiguous article.

{{confused|Page title|Another page}}

Result:

Not to be confused with Page title or Another page.

Example

Mile Not to be confused with Nile. A mile is a unit of measurement that is equal to 5,280 feet.
